The event was opened by Ms. Saule, Vice Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and she stressed the importance of partnership between international organizations and the private sector.

Ms. Bulgantuya, Vice Minister of Finance, also pointed out that international donors and investors have a great interest in Mongolia, especially in food and agriculture sector; however; there are a number of challenges in investing in Mongolia. If an international investment is supported by state policy, Mongolia has a chance to increase export share from food, agriculture and light industry sector up to 20-30 percent of the total export.
