THE KNITWEAR PRODUCING INDUSTRIES ARE CURRENTLY PARTICIPATING IN GERMAN STOLL COMPANY TRAINING

Over 30 Mongolian knitwear producing industries are using more than 250 of German’s Stoll computer controlled flat knitting machines for their production, which are world-leading flat knitting machine.

The Export Development Project is organizing a customized training on “CMS-Handling and Knitting technique” per the requests of 12 knitwear producing industries and exporters that are using the Stoll machines, which has a whole range of pattern techniques and knitting options. 

The training led by Mr. Yang Zeliang who is a Senior Specialist, representative of German Stoll company in China. In addition, there are 12 machinists of knitwear producing industries are involved in the training.

The participants will obtain the knowledge and skills combined with the theory and practice of various aspects of the CMS machine structure, will learn the terms and principles of knitting technology, the various services required for the machine and moreover they are expected to become the future trainers at their companies to share their knowledge and skills and strengthen human resource capabilities.

The training will continue until November 16th of 2018 and the successful graduates will be awarded by German Stoll company certificates.

TRAINING ON “METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING EXPORT DEVELOPMENT PLAN-18” IS CONDUCTED

On 9 of January 2019, the training to provide methodology for developing “Export Development Plan”, one of the key documents of the Matching Grants sub-component of the Export Development Project, was delivered at to representatives of around 20 entities involving existing exporters and those wishing to be future exporters.  

“MONGOLIAN EXPORTERS-2018” E-CATALOGUE

Export Development Project (EDP) has cooperated with Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) to produce “Mongolian Exporters-2018” E-Catalogue to support exporters in accessing into the new markets, promote their products and services, expand their market and establish communication with foreign partners. It is presented in exporters.mongolchamber.mn website and printed onto a CD.

DECISION IS MADE TO AWARD MATCHING GRANTS TO ENTERPRISES

On 06 Dec 2018, at its routine 16th meeting the Evaluation Team reviewed the Export Development Plan (EDP) submitted by 22 enterprises and arrived at the decision to submit their proposals to the Ministry of Finance.
